Future Work

‘Canopy of Stories’ is a pilot project with goals to expand to other EJ Indicators – air quality, pollution awareness, transportation, and more.

Survey responses for this project also included recruitment for Focus Groups and recordings of stories. Focus groups will occur in early 2023. Responses will be utilized to inform policy and Climate Justice Planning for Multnomah County.

A main goal for the ‘Canopy of Stories’ project was to make climate data more accessible to those most impacted. A web based map, website, and survey has a broad reach, but still misses a lot of community for awareness. J’reyesha envisions a future tangible project – either in Zine form with existing partners, or a hands on story collecting pop-up.
